Hmm, I liked the idea when you started but since feels as if the idea hasn't expanded and I am not sure if it can. The character is a cut out of so many others when it gets down to it. Sort of like somebody read too much JtHM and was trying to propose another idea for shorts. Looking at your comics, I really love the classic feel you give to some intense imagry, but think you have enough creativity to make something with more depth than interchangable everything and a character based off, "crazy guy is fine, crazy guy goes crazy, crazy guy kills stuff," as so many before him.

Comick responds:

Hahaha you are very wrong to think skitzo is just some cookie cutter psycho killer. The character has quite a built story which started in my fine art gallery paintings representing a figure in hell as the eye of perverse delights. He is not entirely mindless but hes also not entirely sane... he was created for a reason and then released to theaters with malicious intent to his viewers..well until all his cartoons were destroyed in the 1920s. These shorts are only records of his past history and I suggest reading the philosophy of my paintings or the concepts in my comic In The Dark (where we see what modern day Skitzo is doing now in Hell) to better understand the full story behind these shorts and the character himself because I assure you he's a lot more twisted then you give him credit.

Wow, I have not watched a Salad Fingers since high school but didn't expect the kind of advancement you've shown. Where things like foamy the squirrel fail to improve any part of their animation aside from the cut out quality, even with a "reboot," you've made your animation far more immersive while sticking to the character design and stylization of the series. Bravo, mister Firth. Bravo.

Bravo! I don't know why I enjoyed this so much... BUT I ENJOYED THIS SO MUCH... AND I DON'T KNOW WHY!

Well, I watched all three after watching Superman V Goku, and I got to say, it was rough at first but by this one you have improved leaps and bounds. It is a bit standard as far as story and content(I suppose starting as a parody it should be somewhat expected) but I will stay tuned to see what else you got. Once you can give it a unique Kel-chan kind of vibe, it will be unstoppable.

Eh... that wasn't very funny. Tried far too hard. Good effort on animation and voice acting but bad writing.

Good animation and such, but as far as the content goes, it kind of felt like most of it was introductions for a quick... joke? about a series where a solid theme would have been better... or a conclusion. Kind of felt like, "these guys! This guy, then this, hey another anime, hey some guys!"

All in all, good job, but anime fanfare doesn't do it for me I guess.

Kel-chan responds:

i have a series - just more ppl liked this

Meh... Good animation but didn't really find anything very funny. Need a better writer. Voice acting was pretty good. A good effort.

I LOVE your MH animations. Best game series ever.

Pretty good narrative. I feel you could have spent more time on the animation since it was still frame, but the overall correctness of the young frustration was dead on.

I DON'T KNOW WHO IS TELLING THE TRUTH ANYMORE!

I forget to upload here but LOVE Newgrounds forever(had to recreate my account in 09 but was here longer). I mostly do art but will upload a reel for VO someday I'm sure. I experiment with style so there is a variety. Fun streams on twitch if you wanna!
